Mamaprenista Bobbi Mullins on Launching Andy Robson Consolidated to Help Business Owners Reach Their Goals

Fitriya-Mohamed-10

Hello Bobbi! Please share a brief introduction about yourself and your business:

Hi! I’m Bobbi, wife to 1, mom to 2. I am a digital marketing consultant and a WordPress specialist as well as Owner and Chief Creative Officer of Andy Robson Consolidated. I have my Master Degree in Digital Marketing and a Bachelors in Information Technology Management. I love helping business owners figure out and reach their goals!

What excites you about being an Entreprenista League member?

I’m excited to be a part of a community. I look forward to being able to share the things that I know as well as learning from other people. While as an introvert it’s hard, I know that connection and community is a big part of life (and business).

What made you take the leap to start Andy Robson Consolidated?

Initially, it was because the company I worked for was moving their offices to another state. I realized then that I wanted more flexibility and control over my own destiny.

So Bobbi, what was your background prior to starting your own business?

I have done everything from banking, homeowners insurance, and coordinating schedules for various services. I learned WordPress, and then added marketing in the mix because I realized how hand-in-hand they went.

Did you always know you wanted to be an entreprenista and now a mamaprenista?

There was a part of me that did. My grandfather and my father have both owned their own business so it’s something I always knew was a possibility. It was just a matter of finding my ‘what.’

So Bobbi, when launching a new business, marketing is key! With your Masters in Digital Marketing, what was your initial game plan when launching your business?

My initial marketing strategy consisted of Facebook Groups and doing some small projects to show people what I could do. It went better than expected, but there have definitely been bumps in the road.

Mamaprenistas overcome challenges every single day. What is the biggest challenge you have encountered along the way?

Figuring out boundaries and giving myself grace have been the biggest challenges. I’ve learned that without these, doing this is nearly impossible without running myself into the ground.

So Bobbi, what would you say you feel most accomplished about?

Being able to finish my degrees while being a wife & mom to small kids all the while working full time and getting a business going.

Work life balance is easier said than done. Do you believe in work/life balance? What are some of your best tips?

I do believe in a work/life balance (although I’m not great at it). My best tip is to remember grace, and just because you check those emails doesn’t mean that you have to be all in. You can still mark it unread and go back to it when you planned on working.

What’s a piece of advice you can share that you wish you’d known when you first started your Entreprenista journey?

This is a very lonely, difficult journey when you try and do it all on your own.

So Bobbi, what’s next for your business?

I am hoping to grow and offer some course offerings to small business owners.
