Please share a brief introduction about yourself and your business:

My name is Juliana, I am a mother of 3 boys and passionate about helping women to thrive in happy and healthy motherhood. I have been working as a Health & Fertility Coach for over 11 years. My goal with my clients of Made Simple Nutrition is to help them find their best version in life while reaching their ultimate health and wellness goals from conceiving to birth and beyond.

What excites you about being an Entreprenista League member?

Making connections that will drive me to a non-stop growing carrier. I dream big, and I am not even close to where I want to be 😉 Together with expanding my influence online, bringing in more clients and revenue. I also hope to find support on hard times that all of us entrepreneurs face on daily basis.

What made you take the leap to start your own business?

I am aware of my talent for coaching and inspiring people, so having my own business enables me to create my own path of helping people.

What was your background prior to starting your own business?

I have a diploma in Fine Arts and worked for a long time setting up events, home decor, etc.

Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?

Yes.

Take us back to when you first launched your business, what was your marketing strategy to get the word out, and did it go as planned?

I launched my business in February 2019 in Canada, with a line of frozen organic baby food line, as of that time I was focusing my carrier on baby nutrition and solid foods introduction, continuing the path I started in Brazil where I published a book in 2015 related to this topic. Even though I got very good exposure on Local TV, the sales were not as I expected. I was paying more than earning and with only a few clients, I gave up a year later and started seeing clients in the office for a consultation. To be honest, I never had a good marketing plan, as I always trusted the word of mouth, and the presence of the clinics I was partnering with. Before the pandemic hits, I started seeing clients from an Acupuncture Clinic that specialized in TCM fertility health and I got very involved with my clients’ stories, so I realized that these women were lacking the support they deserved. At the end of 2021, I finished my certification as a Fertility Nutrition Advisor and since then, I am very much focused on promoting this part of my coaching with the goal of supporting these new clients from conceiving to birth and beyond.

What is the biggest challenge you have encountered along the way and what did you learn from it?

Consistency is the key, and sometimes the ups and downs make me lose track. I learned that beautiful things take time and I am confident for the first time in my life, I won’t let myself down!

What is the accomplishment you are the proudest of to date?

For sure being a Go to health practitioner on CTV Canada makes me proud.

Do you believe in work/life balance? What are some of your best tips?

Yes!!! I need that as my family does too! I try my best for NOT working on weekends.

What’s a piece of advice you can share that you wish you’d known when you first started your Entreprenista journey?

Trust yourself. What you do NOBODY can do the WAY you do. Your perfect clients will know that when choosing you.

What have you achieved recently that you’d like to celebrate with our community?

My first Self-Study Online Fertility Program: Believe & Conceive, Made Simple is launching, and I am super excited about it as it’s so beautiful and from my heart.

What’s next for your business? What can we expect to see over the next few years?

For sure more self-studies programs that will generate more passive revenue, together with a great consistency of 1-1 clients (high ticket)
