Please share a brief introduction about yourself and your business:

Hello! My name is Priscilla aka Priss. I handcraft luxury crystal-infused manifestation candles and curate manifestation resources to activate one’s higher self & start manifesting their dream reality, with lots of love and high vibrations for my online boutique, Moonstone Spiritual Glam Boutique. In addition to my boutique, I am host & creator of the YouTube channel, The Manifestation Flow with Priss, where I take beautiful souls on a journey through my self-documented, un-edited and raw, healing and manifestation journey. Through my work, I inspire the collective in elevating their thinking to transform their lives by declaring abundance and freedom.

What excites you about being an Entreprenista League member?

The amazing and wonderful connections that are soon to be made!

What made you take the leap to start your own business?

I wanted to start something that I had a burning desire for and that provided me with the freedom to do whatever I wished to do at my own pace. Working for myself is an opportunity that I truly cherish and value.

What was your background prior to starting your own business?

I was a Digital Paid Media Operative

Did you always know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?

Absolutely not! So, this idea, of me being my own boss and considering myself an entrepreneur, is still all fresh in my mind but I continue to work on mindset hacks to cancel out those limiting beliefs that tend to pop up here and there.

Take us back to when you first launched your business, what was your marketing strategy to get the word out, and did it go as planned?

My strategy was simply to post content consistently and frequently and by word of mouth. The posting and remaining active on social worked out. The word of mouth not so much. I believe the majority of this was due to getting the word out to folks who weren’t in alignment with me and my business; therefore, the support I was looking for, was just not there.

What is the biggest challenge you have encountered along the way and what did you learn from it?

The biggest challenge for me I would say was pricing and figuring out where to order supplies from. I did a ton of research on how to price my candles and where to go to purchase the supplies needed to make my products. I found a few helpful resources but on the pricing, everything I reviewed was mostly for your traditional scented candles. Pricing for this particular niche of candle making, where I include crystals, would have been very helpful if I would have come across some sort of resource for it.

What is the accomplishment you are the proudest of to date?

Wow, I want to say everything! Primarily, launching my YouTube channel to start a personal brand. It takes a lot of courage and willpower to just come out and share my journey with the world, a journey that is so personal. However, my motivation to continue releasing my journal vlogs is that it will inspire someone else out there and motivate them to live the life they most desire. To let go of all the fear and limiting beliefs they may have and declare their abundance and freedom.

Do you believe in work/life balance? What are some of your best tips?

Yes, I do! That is another reason why I decided to work for myself and be my own boss. My biggest tip on this is setting boundaries and sticking to them. This has helped me tremendously while working as an independent contractor and that is the beauty of being self-employed, you can set those boundaries from the start. For one who is working for an employer, setting boundaries to balance both is also key. When you sign off, actually sign off – don’t check emails or messages, and don’t check them on the weekends!

What’s a piece of advice you can share that you wish you’d known when you first started your Entreprenista journey?

Patience is truly a virtue. I am in the process of working towards building trusted and loyal supporters for The Manifestation Flow with Priss brand versus my initial idea of launching my personal brand in April to then sell a digital course before August of 2021. My goal has shifted, as I want to ensure the supporters and clients I am attracting are very much in alignment with me and my brand. This is the most important thing for me over generating revenue.

What have you achieved recently that you’d like to celebrate with our community?

My most recent achievement is being so expressive and giving myself a voice on social media. Ask me a few years ago if I would ever create a YouTube channel or openly discuss spirituality and manifestation, and I would have said heck no. Haha. Now, I love it, and I am inspiring and motivating others throughout the process.

What’s next for your business? What can we expect to see over the next few years?

Selling digital courses and potentially 1:1 coaching. I am working on finalizing my 1:1 Energetic Vision Board Masterclass to release as an on-demand digital course and have plans for a larger more expansive program in the works.
